Also the shower curtains are the old style heavy plastic ones rather than the nice light see-through ones.įrom now on we will stay at hotels that don't have casinos attached so that we are not exposed to. The bathrooms are spacious, although the shower nozzle in our room just sprayed out a huge undirected spray of water which is difficult to shower under. However, the bedding is strange.the mattresses seem to have a plastic protector, so we could hear and feel the plastic, plus the plastic makes for a very sweaty sleep experience as it doesn't 'breathe'. The room was OK, quite spacious and well furnished. And there doesn't seem to be any effort made to confine the smoking.so much so that we feel very sorry for the staff that have to work in those conditions. We were very sorry that we booked to stay here and were glad to leave to get some fresh air.
Each night we had to wash out our clothes because we reeked of smoke, then we had problems with our eyes, nose and throats from the irritation from the smoke. We spent 3 nights (weeknights, not weekend) at South Point Casino and Hotel and we suffered the whole time from the cigarette smoke which just seems to be everywhere. The reviews of this hotel will vary according to whether you smoke or not! Smokers must love this place.
